Let’s talk about apple varieties!
At Quinn Farm, we produce over 30 kinds of apples! They can all be found in store when they’re ready, but only certain kinds are available for u-pick. Here’s which kinds you can pick yourselves and when they’re ready:
- Paula Red: end of August to beginning of September
- Lobo: beginning of September
- McIntosh: September
- Cortland: mid September to mid October
- Spartan: mid September to beginning of October
- Empire: October
- Northern Spy: mid October
- Idared: end of October
Along with those, these are the varieties you can find in store when they’re in season: Ambrosia, Atlas, Delcorf, Elstar, Fuji, Gala, Ginger gold, Honey gold, Honeycrisp, Jersey Mac, Jonagold, Lodi, Melba, Melrose, Russet, Sunrise, Vista Bella, and many more!
