Employment
2026 – Multi-Skilled Farm Hand
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and versatile person to join our team as a Multi-skilled Farm Hand. The ideal candidate has experience working on a fruit & vegetable farm, is bilingual (French and English), and holds a valid Quebec driver’s license. This role offers the opportunity to assist the outdoor crew while performing a variety of farming (and other related) tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in soil preparation, seeding, planting, and maintenance of fruit & vegetable crops.
- Harvest, wash, sort, and pack produce to sell
- Operate and maintain basic farm equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Drive our guests around the farm and welcome them in our fields (customer service)
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Repair, build and maintain our farm equipment, buildings and more
A day in the life of a Multi-Skilled farmer at Quinn Farm
Help the indoor crew open up shop, perform tractor and wagon inspections, do some weed eater in the play yard, fix a broken farm toy in the play yard, bring farm equipment to and back from the fields, plant some strawberries, replace the tractor driver for lunch, dig and fix a broken irrigation pipe, help close the shop. Go home. Repeat.
Requirements:
- Bilingualism (French & English)
- Experience working on a fruit and vegetable farm (or other related farming experience)
- Valid Quebec Driver’s license & Experience driving tractors and other farm equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, not afraid to ask good questions
- Available to work weekdays AND weekends.
- Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
Assets:
- Basic mechanical skills (equipment maintenance, small repairs)
- Pesticide application certified
Benefits:

Cook - Experience Required
Assist the cooks with their daily tasks (making pies and muffins, jams, and other products sold at the farm), take inventory of products, and clean the workspace (emptying trash, sweeping and mopping, cleaning refrigerators/freezers, etc.).
The employee must be bilingual, physically capable of lifting heavy loads, performing repetitive tasks, standing for 8 consecutive hours, and comfortable in a noisy environment with varying temperatures.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and last-minute changes caused by the seasonality of our business.
Kitchen Help
Wash dishes, assist the cooks with various repetitive and varied tasks (chopping vegetables, handling large containers, organizing products, making pies, packaging products, etc.).
The ideal candidate must be bilingual, physically capable of lifting heavy loads, performing repetitive tasks, standing for 8 consecutive hours, and comfortable in a noisy environment with varying temperatures.
Tractor Driver - Fields Guide
Hold a valid driver’s license. Provide excellent customer service, operate tractors with wagons, drive customers around the farm, with the possibility of operating other agricultural machinery, welcome customers on the wagon, and inform them of safety rules.
Welcome customers in the fields, provide information about seasonal activities or harvests, answer questions, and ensure the smooth running of the activity. Clean the workspace (pick up and empty trash, ensure everything is safe, etc.).
The ideal candidate must be bilingual, available on weekends and weekdays depending on the season, ready to work in all weather conditions, and comfortable with a routine yet variable job due to the seasonality of our business.
BBQ Snack Barn
Weekends only (can be combined with another position to fill hours). Provide excellent customer service, set up the outdoor BBQ, cook food, fill orders, and clean the workspace (clean the BBQ, empty trash, wash dishes, etc.).
The ideal candidate must be available on weekends, ready to follow kitchen hygiene rules, physically capable of lifting heavy loads, comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, and interested in performing a variety of tasks.
Farm Labourer
Help the outdoor crew with various farming tasks; planting, harvesting, irrigating, weeding, picking rocks, packing produce, etc
The ideal candidate must be bilingual, available to work on weekends, physically capable of lifting heavy loads, able to handle multiple tasks at once, and have a strong attention to detail.
Cashier
Provide excellent customer service, operate the cash register, open/close and balance the register, clean the workspace (empty trash, dust shelves, clean windows, etc.), and know the products offered, etc.
The ideal candidate must be bilingual, available to work on weekends, comfortable with technology, and skilled in mathematics. The employee must be comfortable standing for 8 hours and performing routine tasks.
Shop Clerk
Provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, label and package products, and maintain cleanliness in the store (empty trash, sweep/mop, clean bathrooms, etc.).
The ideal candidate must be physically capable of standing and moving constantly for 8 hours, willing to perform various tasks in different departments, and available to work on weekends.
Janitor
Day or evening shifts. Clean bathrooms, empty trash, sweep and mop all floors, etc.
The ideal candidate must be physically capable of lifting heavy loads and standing for several hours while moving constantly. They should have an eye for detail and take pride in doing quality work. Willingness to assist other departments when possible (e.g., unloading delivery pallets) is also required.
Ticket Booth
Provide excellent customer service, operate the cash register at the outdoor ticket booth, open/close and balance the register, and clean the workspace (empty trash, sweep, etc.).
The ideal candidate must be bilingual, available to work on weekends, comfortable with technology, and skilled in mathematics. The employee must be comfortable standing for 8 hours and performing mostly routine tasks.
Snack Barn Clerk
Provide excellent customer service, fulfill orders, wash dishes, stock shelves, clean the workspace (empty trash, wash picnic tables, etc.), and assist in the kitchen when needed.
The ideal candidate must be bilingual, available to work on weekends, physically capable of lifting heavy loads, able to handle multiple tasks at once, and have a strong attention to detail and customer satisfaction!
